When someone starts approaching they will be unsuccessful 98/100 times and will screw up the other two.

Even the best are unsuccessful it’s just that their game is tighter and they learn to filter out girls who aren’t interested. They realize that the ego can be the worst enemy because it can push you to try to recover from an unrecoverable situation.

You get more ripped by failing when strength training same applies to approaches.

If you do not learn and adapt you will not get better just as if you never change your lifting routine you will plateau.
