I know it's mutual, but I have savored drawing it out and not telling her. We have been together about 4-5 months.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I'm probably never getting married, and if I did, it would be in Vegas... baby. ('Cuz the chick I'd marry wouldn't settle for anything less than a Vegas wedding, of course.)

I’m sure we’ve all had chicks say it to us after a week or something. I remember thinking, like WTF, “…do you realize I have not even changed my underwear the entire time I’ve known you”.
Any overused phrase essentially becomes meaningless. The only time WE should say it is only AFTER she says it and only one tenth of times she does.
Oh, yeah, for effect, never say it as an immediate response to her saying it, and, when you do say it, make it random, out of the blue, not just after you boned her.

I don't let her expect it. Sometimes I'll say "Yeah, I'm a lovable sorta person", or "and who could blame you really?" in a funny way. Then once in a while I'll get all serious and say it back.
If you make it unexpected there is a higher addiction factor.

I said it recently after a few months when I was in the ****. Got me out of it and I have hardly said it ever again even tho she does all the time, as it should be.
