I've heard about the positives for trying to bulk up and working out. But I've heard rumors of bad things it does. I've heard that it damages your liver and heart, and that the only gains it gives you is water weight.

So what do you guys know about Creatine that is a negative?

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

If you take too much it can be bad for your kidney, but just stick to the loading phase amount for the first couple days, and then use 5g a day.

Anything is toxic in too high amounts. Sugar, water, salt, vitamins... etc.

Well yah, some people think that since this loading phase has more creatine, then it will result in more muscle mass if you never stop it. I'm just warning to keep to ~5g a day.

Here's a good page with some stuff about possible adverse effects:

5g a day is like a teaspoon. There's no adverse effects for that dosage unless you already have a medical condition that messed up your kidneys.

Only the fat soluable vitamins are potentially toxic (A, D, E, and K). If you pulled off OD'ing on a water-soluable vitamin or vitamins, you'd probably be the first person ever to pull that off. Theoretically possible, but be prepared to literally buy out the entire stock at your local walgreens and kroger in your attempt.

With creatine, if you're going to be concerned about anything, it'd be gradual toxicity issues over a long period of time and use.... not fear of passing, say, and LD50 level of Creatine. I'd imagine the LD50 dose of creatine would be an astounding amount (certainly more than an entire bottle).

Anything is toxic in too high amounts. If the kidneys can't expel it out of your system fast enough, its toxic.

Creatine is not a foreign substance. Its found in animal products, mostly in red meat.

There's no concern with long term toxicity unless you take too much or you're using a cheap and unpurified brand. The body can and will process this naturally occurring chemical.

As long as you're not taking insane amounts everyday (50g let's say) then I don't think there are any adverse side effects besides dehydration and bloat.

I've worked out for about 9 years. Last year I tried out creatine in the summer/fall of 08. I didn't get any benefits or side effects at all. Although it may have helped SLIGHTLY with recovering post-workout, but nothing noticeable.

Try it out for a short time if you want (maybe 1 container's worth), see if it does anything for you.

As with any type of supp though, I would not take it long-term.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
