after 2 years of mostly getting laid via online dating, I have realised now in retrospect , the juice is definitely not worth the squeeze.

God damn , did I log an insane amount of hours on Hinge , Feeld and the rest .. Sheeit.
sure I got laid a fair bit , but these apps just pay out at random guys; the majority of the chats and effort trying to ‘Game ‘ or connect w women are a total waste.

**** I could’ve completed a degree with that time or picked up some new hobbies. Or just paid for sex,
And my social skills have suffered spending so much time on my phone ..1000%

anyway; whinge over.

So Ive decided to get back out on the streets and try my hand at cold approaching again.
Like the good old days.
and I am starting again now from a place of very high approach anxiety and confusion, having spent the last 2-3 years over consuming PUA /RP theory.
Each time I’ve gone out to do CA in these years I noticed how tense /stressed ive been and also how overloaded with different info my brain is.

TMI and analysis paralysis is real.

Ianyway so I’ve realsied I need to (a) small chunk and (b) get practicing so went out on Friday for a day game session for 3 hours in the cbd . and back on it today again .

this is mainly just for my own recording of thoughts and conversations and meeting women (and just people)

Friday CBD
So I drive to the city.. and sheeit if Ive totally forgotten how the city is now . It’s absolutely terming with Asians. They are everywhere!!
It’s like Beijing here downtown. 50:1 ratio. Jeezos.

And the city is so young! Everyone looks like teenagers. Fvck! This is a fail already.

Anyway, so after the intial shock I walk to the centrql Library park where I recall some PUa dudes doing CA way back in the day. I see a few who may be , but they are solo and just walking through maybe and super young.

I then go to the super mall, which used to be the other main spot of the Day Gamers.(.I’d met a coach guy there once so was hoping to spot him there and chat. )
Can’t see anyone there. just very young Asian folks and some others, but all way young.
I go upstairs to a bar ,my old pickup spot .. it is dead AF. I recall some memories . And also realise that was so long ago. Dang.

I end up at Starbucks charging my phone and vape, I scope out the joint inside. It’s just too young. And really I do not see any attractive ones either (for me).
I end up outside drinking coffee and vaping ,just watching all the various types walk by,
There are homeless people and weirdos and junkies…lots of anime dressed asian chicks,
2 disabled chicks with purple and blue hair lolloped past.. some cool suavely dressed foreign dudes…And also multiple hot white blonde Beckies (mmm! ) ..but every single one of them is with a dude that looks to be her BF , a Chad guy , who is at least 6-12 inches taller than Becky,

Danggg.
Reality check for me .

I see some woman in my age range oh a bench next to me rolling a ciggie…she notices me.

So I prepare to finally do my first approach,,,

So I’m preparing to walk around the glass panel of the café area to open this woman… when a junkie steals my lunch and gets in before me to ask her please could he have a cigarette.. Then he sits down and starts talking to her.
After 5 mins he’s still there . She is mid . So I call it and walk back up to my car,

I had even written a cheat sheet of openers before I left home and it was in my pocket unused.

I did drive back home through a more hipster area and noticed lots of cool folks hanging out at some funky bars and cafes. So I’ll target that area next time.

So lesson of the day - choose your niche
pick the right location(s) and right demographics firstly , lol…

Update to last post,
So after my fail on Friday I tried again when I was out and about on Sunday .

After some though had my opener prepared.
This is my structure

me -“hey! Quick question - do you have a brother??”

Her -“yes/no/what?”

Me - because I would MOG him into the Shadow Realm bro ! Into the SHADOW REALMMM hahaha”
(Delivered with a victorious , confident laugh)

note on my opener
it doesn’t matter what she says in reply to the question or if she understands the punchline . Likely no woman will get it,

the purpose is to engage her so I can make solid eye contact long enough to observe her eyes for any flashes of attraction , and observe her face for micro expressions of attraction (smirking etc)

this is what I’m currently small chunking to get my skills back. Super solid eye contact.

The old saying of “it’s all in the eyes “ is very true . And it is the first and probably most important thing for me to practice in the interaction .

I call it ‘Laser Eyes.’

…and my role model is Dr Hannibal Lector

so far since Sunday I’ve had 2 interactions with women in a cafe and shop where I’ve done this and have started to see this “flash “ across the eyes and notice micro expressions in their face,

It’s just indirect and “chaff” to get her attention and engage her to observe me.

if she wants me to explain it . I’ll tell her what Mog means and how I’m claiming to be better looking than her brother.

it’s the intensity of the vibe . And Lectors laser eye contact and his dark charismatic energy.

Which for me ,as being quite rusty in approaching ..need to get back again.
