Just don't let her find it...
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Things like
Who lies more
two part kiss opener
The lying game,
fvck-marry-kill
strawberry fields
and so on

Some people need more than Nature. If everyone could just go out and do it, than we wouldn't need a sight.B4IFURU18? said:OPENERS ARE SO 1999. Just be human, and touch on normal things that are going on around you. Nuff of this canned bull****. It's lame and robotic.

PLUS some people like the PUA stuff. To each their own.
All solid points, but I think you're mistaking the goal (DJ or PUA) with the learning process.B4IFURU18? said:I understand that, but what embodies a PUA is to be pure in mind. You learn this through practice. You shouldn't need canned openers. It's just like Barry Bonds shouldn't need to use steroids to accomplish his goals.
A true PUA (god I hate this ****ing term) constantly works on bettering himself by being a true conversationalist, not a robot who studies, and rips off openers that some dude named Mystery came up with. That's unoriginal and lame as hell.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
That is the sad hard truth. We all need to start somewhere. Natural Style is going to come. As long as you try.B4IFURU18? said:zerocelcius -
Good post. I think people here are in need of a lot more help than I initially thought. I just see a lot of guys here that are so twisted and confused. I hate to see them turn into some programmed robot that's not congruent with their self.
I guess if it takes canned openers to build rapport, and in turn build confidence, use them. Just don't rely on them to get you laid. You must exude natural confidence and real interest.
Good luck men!

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
