That's not a terrorist action, the bombs werent simply meant to make a big mess which is what terrorists usually want.

Also the place of the bombing has no particular meaning, its not a power building or a military base nor a national monument, it smells to me unabomber style.

Its probably some lone wolf with problems with society, he decided to struck there mostly because that marathon even before being a sport event is a socialization one and isolated lone wolfs Sodini type suffers when people meet each other and enjoy, it makes them feel even more lonely and rejected.

The more society becomes interconnected and put pressure on those who dont fit the "socialization criteria" and the more actions like this we're gonna see.

There are thousands for outcast and rejected men who just need a spark to detonate, nobody gives a fvck about those men either society nor politics and they feel that they have no other choice than do such things.

Just try to read Brevik diary or unabomber one, sure there is an "agenda" behind it but mostly the detonator are personal reasons, from alienation to rejection, if you read Sodini's one is obvious.

If you think that gun control in this country will solve this problem, you are wrong. All it will do is shred the second amendment and punish law abiding Americans who have a right to protect family, property and person.

Let's now ban airplanes (9/11), fertilizer (Oklahoma City) and while we're at it,
pressure cookers (Boston), coffee pots, toasters, etc.

The issue at hand is mental illness. This is where we as a country need to concentrate our efforts.

Let me go a step forward and get a bit radical. When they catch those guy(s) that bombed Boston, we should hang them in front of Madison Square Garden without delay rather than allowing them 30 years on death row, endless appeals and millions spent in their defense by us, the taxpayers.

If we treated mental illness and had an actual meaningful deterrent to these crimes, ie swift justice, maybe we would see a decrease in these incidents.
