"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

What is the best piece of advice someone (family member, friend, coach, movie line) that you have heard that helped you out when you were struggling with something?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

You have a choice about what you do as well as how you feel.

Wait a sec, I told myself that....

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Well, other than the generic "work hard, and be honest" stuff that my parents, particularly my father passed along (yes, it was true and I did very well by it),
one of my favorite pieces of advice is from JP Morgan (the financier, not the bank) "Think a lot, say a little, *write nothing*"

Also, all of the advice about one-itis I've read over the years really is gold. It's amazing how it frees you up when there is more than one romantic "possibility" in one's life.

Be honest about every intention and desire you have with a girl. NEVER mask it or hide it or pretend it doesn't exist or matter. You will never lose with this mindset.

"You're good looking, you're successful, you've got a great job, and any woman would love to be with you." She was right, so I got rid of her and got a better woman :D

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Find out what you really want (or need in a non-neediness way) in your life and arrange that. That is the most important thing.

Something for the way to clubs/bars: Hey, this is YOUR spare time. Enjoy it.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

The entire book of pook in the bible. Not only was it perfect advice when I needed it, I loved the way he wrote it.

"As you think you shall become" -I heard it from Pook but it originated from Bruce Lee

"never forget that people are on many different paths seeking happiness and fulfilment, and just because you aren't on the same path, doesn't necasarily mean the other person is lost"

i forget who said this gem, but i would like to shake thier hand, good stuff.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
