Popeyes
Don Juan
Yea is it a good or bad thing if people have been hearing that you're "pimping" alot of girls.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Thats all they said?Ripper said:Don't worry about it dude. My girlfriends tell me it's a good thing.
What do you mean exactly? Elaborate a bit...Popeyes said:Thats all they said?
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
No I just mean like thats not all they said is it? You didn't just ask them about it and they said "it's good", or did they say a bit more, like what goes through their mind when they hear that.Ripper said:What do you mean exactly? Elaborate a bit...
Not sure exactly what you mean by control the situation.Ice Cold said:If you have to ask, it means you don't control the situation and can't take advantage of it.
That's a bad thing.
Oh ok. Just to clear up any confusion if there is any, by 'girlfriends' I mean friends who are girls. They basically said that if a guy has lots of girls writing flirty messages on his wall (facebook) then it's quite clear he's popular and sought after. They (the girls) reckon you can tell quite a lot about someone from who posts on their wall. Also, as long as you're quite popular (and this is where guy friends come in) then you can get away with a lot of sh1t. If you're seen as some PUA or seducer (even if that's what you are!), a sort of lone wolf, then your behaviour is not so easily excused.Popeyes said:No I just mean like thats not all they said is it?
