I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Good to see that you like Pook's post, Fanny.Originally posted by Fanny:
I feel like saluting, clapping, shouting, throwing confetti!!! males talking about being men! What could be better? Yes, that is what we woman want. And one other thing I add to your list, nobility. A few of your points touched it, but I thought it needed a little more attention. Standing up for what you belive (and beliving something worthwile) and being the kind of person who belives that anything worth doing, is worth doing well. I wish all men, and women, would strive for such personality traits.
From a Woman
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Hey Alpha..I like what youre saying alot.Just remember not to overanalyze cuz its a real killer toward infactuation. Also it isnt necessary to sweet talk her.Nice guys like to do that.Players like to flatter.I am not a player.Men would just take her..get her number and get some woman in their life...and Im not talking bout 1 night stands.Originally posted by AlphaMan:
This article was really enlightening. I am currently sweet talking my ould girlfriend's best friend and thanks to some of the help these articles have given I think I'm succeeding. From all I've read basically to win over a women you have to be good at analyzing things. Like this article said you cant be a jerk or a nice guy. I think you have to be both and know when to be which. Follow your women's moods and find out what she likes. Then see hows shes feeling and figure out whether to be quiet or be a talker. Be nice or play hard to get. But NO MATTER WHAT ALWAYS ALWAYS BE CONFIDENT. No matter what the situation is confidence is necessary. You just need to know how to show it. Stand and sit with good posture. Sometimes be quiet but stand with a cool calm confidence. Other times joke and tell storys. And never be over confident. I've seen that all women wont love a man who feels more for himself than they think he could feel for them. So basically be yourself with confidence and self restraint. Those are the 2 biggest things in winning a women and becoming a man. That and keep reading the Don Juan newsletters. Thanks to everyone whos wrote these helpful articles.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

Are you impling that Men who belive in God are not real men. Cause I believe and God and there are a lot of great MEN who believe in God. I am just saying that God has someone for all of us..............But that doesn't mean we just sit around and wait. We need to take action!
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
hehe, i did manage to talk to hot girls (in great outfits), something that i couldn't do for about 4 months ago.Originally posted by Lexomatic:
I'm off now to talk to sexy women in hotpants, something I couldnt do 12 months ago. It's not always easy, but the reward at the end is well worth it!
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
