Suggestions & Feedback...
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Do you know how big of a pain in the ass it is to delete individual posts? Oh wait, you don't, so please don't suggest things you don't understand.Originally posted by m4a1
When people get off topic, their posts should be deleted.
Uhm no its not?Originally posted by m4a1
It's just a click of a button

Vincent...it's okay to remove off topic posts from threads in any of the specific topic related forums...especially if it gets out of hand. It's not hard to do, but you would need the help of the members to find them all. If you ask people to report the off topic posts that derail a thread then it will be easy to find them and not much work at all to delete them. "Anything Else" should be the exception, however, because that is the one area that has always been pretty laid back and where people can just post things not related to the site subject matter.
There is a difference between justifiable deletions and uncalled for "overzealous" censorship.
Vincent, that's the wrong attitude to have. Some of the best threads with the most to gain from are the most controversial ones. By closing threads you give trolls all the power. For as long as this site has existed there have been groups of women from feminist sites and other boards who have come here to troll and disrupt. You can't allow trolls and badly behaved people to control the content available to the people who come to this site to get help. This is part of the reason I've been so vocal about censorship. Most of the problems that arise for the moderators are caused by trolls (often women from other sites) who want nothing more than to see this site fall into ruin. Don't be their tool.Originally posted by Vincent

If a thread has been derailed, I will close it. 'nuff said.
Yeah, that's what I was getting at.Vincent, that's the wrong attitude to have. Some of the best threads with the most to gain from are the most controversial ones. By closing threads you give trolls all the power.
I'd rather not get into yet another argument about this overall issue. It's very important, though, because it has a tremendous impact on the quality of the site. And yes, I have to agree with you that SOME (not all) of the moderators are guilty of taking threads off topic as well as starting flame wars. Although I've seen Vincent argue a little bit here and there, and he made some unfair deletions, he can be reasoned with if you talk to him rationally. Unfortunately, there are some moderators who are just beyond reasoning with and only want to fight and argue rather than actually listen to valid complaints. I really don't think Vincent is one of those, at least not from what I've seen so far.Originally posted by m4a1
Yeah, that's what I was getting at.
But apparently, Sir Arrogant Vincent doesn't want people like us telling him how to do his job.

"I love it how people decided they know how to do our jobs for us though."
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Perhaps you shouldn't have volunteered to be a mod then, if you can't be arsed to actually do any work.Originally posted by Vincent

What the hell you talking about, I do more work than almost every mod here, except maybe eternal. Please refrain from making ignorant comments.Originally posted by WesCottII

You say you modded at a site with as many members (give or take) as this one.
We have this amazing tool where they can do that on their own. Its called the search feature, No one seams to use it. So a simple "Do a search, Thread closed" is far easier.Originally posted by Blue Phoenix
I'm tired to see the "same" posts over and over! Things like "****y and funny"/ "eye contact"/"she LJBFed me but says she likes me"/....
Why don't moderators redirect the person to the pas thread and close his new tread immediately? I'd be effective!
