It's generally accepted that men can spin plates, but only until they have sex with one. Then they should commit.

Basically, men behaving like women is accepted.

Women don't generally sleep with all the guys they are dating - instead using some for validation/backups or whatever. Whereas men quite often do, or at least have the urge to.

This is nothing new. They say millennials, women have always done this. Women never end a relationship until they are already in the next one. Gen x girls did this, baby boomer girls did this, this is women in general

Agreed, but previous générations would have a 1 guy focus and would stop until the relation goes south.... millenials.. have 3 or more minimun and than don't stop it "just in case"

If you can't comit there is no futur for a LTR because you always peck around.. even guys spinning plate in a LTR it would get back in there face.

However, if it was guys interviewed... boy we would be crucified.. girls its alright now

Of course anyone's needs will sometimes run contrary to our own. But regarding your "low quality" remark, you can't deny that some women are worse than others. I suppose it depends what you're looking for. You're starting to sound like Tenacity here though. Too cynical. My experiences are not quite so bleak, and as much as I'm sure you would like to discount them, I have been on the planet longer than you have.

I honestly don't even think about red-flags. And I never have looked for a LTR in my life.

Yet, I find many good LTR options.

I like your dad's attitude, that's pretty much the way I feel about it also. All this hand wringing that goes on in this forum can get a little hard to take at times.

Here's what I think: People in general are low quality, they can't be depended on. That means men too. And when you are dealing with people, women tend to be worse than men. That said, I've found the occasional woman who seems to be a decent enough person to be with.

I'm not even sure what you're complaining about, come to think of it. You aren't interested in a LTR, so what's the problem? That they won't give sex out fast enough? Most complaints about women being low quality are that they are huge slvts who aren't suitable for a LTR, or that they are hypergamous (which basically translates to they'd rather be with some other guy who's better than me).

You are assuming that only men who want LTR's have problems?

Of course not. I wasn't born in an LTR, you know. I used to spin plates myself when I was younger, although I don't believe I was ever as dead set against relationships as you are. I was just wondering what you were referring to.

Some guys complain that their plates eventually want a relationship, but I don't think I would chatacterize that as low quality. If I had a problem with a "plate", I would just quit hanging around with her.
