Fair enough. But it needs to be done RELATIVE to how to how much you normally would give. The stereotypical bad boy giving his girlfriend a rose is seen as much more romantic than a nice guy buying a whole bushel for his.

As for romance, take her into the bedroom, light some candles, put on some music, lube her back, give her a massage, then go into a lengthy foreplay session.
