You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Yeah I knowWe've talked about this before, man...
You're going into interview mode, and way too much of this conversation is happening on the app. I have never once in my life asked a girl what her 5-year plan is...
Get her number, plan a date, and have these conversations in person.

So WHY DID you get the pineapple?Have at it!
That's what I thought too, in hind sight. When I was typing that up I wasn't feeling needy. This is what you call highly interested.
I was invited to go to this office party at the last minute, and I had to do some grocery shopping so the pineapple was a fun idea and a short notice gift.So WHY DID you get the pineapple?
Did you ask her out or you really don't feel like meeting with her? That's what I thought too, in hind sight. When I was typing that up I wasn't feeling needy.

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
No I was going to ask her out after she replied.Did you ask her out or you really don't feel like meeting with her?
I think my communication skills still need some work.Yeah nice going.
I just wonder if you had this talk AFTER you fecked her? Or at very least had a date set up.
I remember when I had these kinda interactions, and women would POOF dissappear, leaving me clueless. Now I understand why....it akin to jester maxxxing. Like you trying to prove to her that you are..whatever ,cool or some like that?
Obviously you are a good conversationalist , but you're timing might need some work IF this was prior to actually sleeping with her. I say sleeping, because even if you've just set a date ,this kinda conversation might ruin it all. Tbh this is you shooting the " big guns" and all it does is it kills the curiosity...save this for when you see her, and when you KNOW she wants to duck your sick that same night! Orford pillow talk, even better.
But overall...not too bad..
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Your perceptions alone are not identifying reality. Think about the conversation logically. It seems like you don't want to meet women in person and connect with them, you just want a woman to listen to you / be therapist.
A man doesn't text his life story to a girl he wants to sleep with.Your perceptions alone are not identifying reality. Think about the conversation logically.
Or, deep down he doesn't care that muchA man doesn't text his life story to a girl he wants to sleep with.
The three main problems with your texts are:Have at it!
