"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Fun posting ridiculous OLD profile screenshots

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

This isn't really that egregious, more indicative of a common mindset on Tinder. In-your-face incongruity you really don't see anywhere else. Yes, let's show off out titties lying on the couch and say we're looking for long-term.

It's covered by icons but directly above it says "looking for long-term partner+". The "+" meaning "and possibly marriage".

It's threads like these that make me question my involvement here, we all know OLD is hurting bad, people can reverse search their own images and this site will come up, I definitely wouldn't be posting your own messages alongside a picture as you could be identified.

Explain to me how I can be identified by posting a screenshot off an app? Do you actually understand how technology works?

The messages that would need to be screenshotted are unique, nobody would possesses them outside of the people receiving them... More common sense than an understanding of technology.

That would require:

1. the other person even knows about the forum
2. is capable of navigating it
3. can find the post
4. remembers the conversation

However, we are posting OLD profiles, not conversations, for the most part. I also would not post anything here I deemed could ever blowback. I'm just not that interesting or important.

The irony of being on a hookup app and looking for long term and marriage.

It's definitely a flex, be it borne of revenge-seeking or power-tripping

People have gotten long term relationships from Tinder, but Hinge and Bumble are known more for longer term relationship seekers.

From what I've seen with old the successful relationships tend to be ugly fat people. Because usually they're going for the same thing so its easy for them to both find a fatty. Unlike a guy whos not an ugly lardball that has standards. So yes, i think fat ugly people seem to do better on old since their bar is low. A lot of fat and ugly women on old. Thats just what I've seen irl personally. I work a job with young women like just out of hs and college and none of them are on old. All meet guys traditional way. Only ones I see on old i worked with was a couple fatties.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I’d ask that readers kindly refrain from posting their opinions about OLD on this thread.

This thread is not meant for that - there are, several other threads on the site dedicated to taking about OLD please take your opinions there.

As stated this thread is meant to act as a repository for screenshots of absurd/funny profiles that we come across on OLD, nothing else.

Thanks!

In woman words: I expect you to pay my way.
I can see the emotional baggage already on her face. Single mom looking for someone mature, emotionally stable :D :D By the end of the 'about me' section the pretense was falling and she came as close as possible of saying she's looking for a dupe.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
