I seem to be the only person in my work gym who even bothers with deadlifts, not to mention squats. Anyways when doing stiff legged deadlifts I'm not really feeling anything in my quads. (isn't that whats supposed to be worked) My lower back though is certainly feeling it. I do bend my knees and stick my head forward but my lower back is always sore after my sets. Is this right or is there something wrong in my form? I'm still fairly new to lifting, my highest weight is 160 pounds.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Stiff legs work your lower back, and posterior chain, you shouldn't be feeling them in your quads.

i was worried about this as well, only i'm not doing straight leg deads, just normal deadlifts...can anyone point me in the direction of proper form with that exercise please?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Deadlift Form

One thing to remember, you must always keep your back from bowing. Picture it this way. Pretend you have a shirt on with words across the chest. Picture that there is a mirror in front of you. When doing deadlifts, you should be able to see the letters in the mirror.
