Hey just wondering, what's the best exercise to bring out the definition right at your hip bones.. like in front... i dont know what its called, its at the pelvis bone... Usher has them really defined... know what im talkin about? it looks like this \ / ... understand? lol..

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

No, you can't work that specific part.

Get an anatomy book and look carefully, you will see that it is part of the abdominals. Do some weighed crunches, that should work really well.

And as for definition: definition is what you have when you can see the ripples in your muscles below the skin. This is due to low bodyfat %. If you have no muscle, you got no definition even with low bodyfat.

Go on a bulking cycle if you want some muscle on your frame.

The best exercise to get your \ / defined is to do leg lifts from what I understand. You lay flat on your back and grab your butt then keep your legs together and lift them. That also works your lower abs. Another thing though, abs will never "bulge" like your arms and legs so really exercising is I won't say useless but it's not going to make them show up. I've had this misconception for a long time but it's just simply not true. DIET is the key factor in building abs. "Abs are built in the kitchen, not in the weight room". ;)

Abs are SO built in the weight room. If you don't involve the abs in exercises, they won't grow. You need to isolate them or to do heavy compound movements that invlve the core stabilizers (abs part of this).

Abs are revealled in the kitchen after you get some from training.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend as it seems I have. Let me explain my reasoning to what seems to you like a bunch of nonsense. The thing is, if you have flab covering your abs in the first place no amount of leg lifts, crunches or anything else is going to make your abs show up until you get rid of all the fat that is covering them. That's where diet comes in. Everybody has abs even the lardass in the corner over there in class. That's no hard thing to understand but how the hell is he going to show off them beauties? He's GOT TO DIET. And that was just an extreme example even if you are 10-20 lbs over your BMI you'll still need to diet to get off that excess weight. Also everybody I know that has DEFINED abs is on the low end of their BMI unless they have a huge body build (and I can't say I know anybody with a big build that has abs). Take it from someone with that build, they aren't easy to get. I'm trying now and once I get this fat off I know they'll show. NOW FOR YOUR POINT. EXERCISE is key to defining them and defining them only, not getting them. Now, if all he's wanting to do is define them I wasted my time, his, and everyone elses that disagrees with me.

To get the V-taper happening, you need a small waist, and big lats. Also having big delts helps.

When you are ab crunching your body weight x 2 and leg raising 70+ pounds with good form on a regular basis, you can and will have visible abs even at higher body fat levels.

Well, what exactly are pelvic thrusts with arm motion? Do i lie on my back or what? Could you please elaboarte on this?

And yea they're called the hip flexors.. thanks for clearing that up...

My body fat percentage is 6.55 .... i weigh 184lbs and im 6'0'' ... my bone structure is large.. kind of like Ben Roethlisberger is yall know who that is... in grade school i used to be a porker... now that im 19... i have a great body but i do have some loose skin... its not what you're thinking... its not sickening.. you can't even tell i have loose skin until i tug on it... do you think this is preventing me from having defined abs?

I can def. feel my 6pack underneathe tho.... but what i really want is the hip flexor defined... sorry for talkin in circles... later

Work on conciencously moving your core muscles...

You can train like a muslce man, or you can train on toning your stomach...

Myself... I like playing in the snow and sand and practicing different spins, kicks, and flips...

My pack is smooth and defined...

I don't want the veins showing outta my neck physique, I want to keep the tone and hard but looks soft physique;)

If you have 6.5% bodyfat your abs should be visible. That is of course if you HAD any to begin with. You need more muscle, your abs don;t show because you have none. You can go to as low as 2% bodyfat.. it won't matter if you don't have the muscle.

At your height, 200lbs would look great. Not huge, but medium.
