Master Don Juan
Women often can’t tell the difference between a good man and a bad man based on how he gains his “power.”
I could give countless examples, different women, different situations, but time and again, many women seem to prefer a man who has money, influence, and authority, even if he’s arrogant, manipulative, or exploitative. As long as he projects confidence, speaks with conviction, and appears successful through his intelligence or “know-how,” he’s seen as desirable. They’ll often choose that kind of man over someone who’s sincere, authentic, kind, and not manipulative, even if that man has a steady, respectable job and lives comfortably.
In other words, many women don’t seem to notice why/how a man has achieved power but they simply associate his social status or wealth with intelligence and the ability to provide. At the end of the day, it seems they don’t care whether he gained those resources honestly or not, what matters is that he can provide for her, her children, and their family. Women often prefer a man who gives them a little affection from time to time but spends most of his energy “out there” hustling and accumulating resources, rather than a man with less status who treats them with steady respect.
It is also the case that, just like men, many women have emotional or psychological issues that shape this behavior. Deep down, some of them might wish for something real and genuine, but because of their past traumas, they may never truly be able to have it, even if they try.
