I remember RSD Tyler saying something similar to what the OP says here. That the shift leader of the fast food place is banging all the super hot teenager cashiers or whatever. (pretty old vid in fairness. Maybe 2008 ish?)

I never saw anyone even close to average looking ( men or women ) working in fast food joints or sh1tty restaurants / bars

and even in the higher end ones, you usually had the guys better looking ( most likely doing that job due to exposure and getting laid ) and the women meh

same with caffès, etc

I think the explanation for this is that these type of jobs are quite grueling from a physical standpoint and above average girls can work for Zara or any other type of stores that are less grueling for the same $

it depends on the hiring manager/owner. if he is a pervert himself he will hire young girls mostly on their looks vs girls with more experience/not as good looking

the guys in the back of house actually making the food, get hired on their experience instead. which makes it easy to stand out and get the attention of the hot servers, when it’s you vs a bunch of mexican 5’4 carlos’s

In Europe, at least in the last couple of years, you rarely see actual Europeans working in places like that

Dunno, maybe the bigger cities have a different dynamic than smaller ones

or maybe we just have a different definition for what is cute for a woman

me personally for example I do not really like Hungarian women that much, mainly because of the round face that makes them look like a potato haha

I do like Nordic or southern European women, and till an extent Balkan women

Decent amount of Turkish girls look amazing too, but they are heavily mixed with Balkan / Slavic so this might be a reason

Just saying that i've personally never seen it with friends who worked in fast food when we were young. I also worked in a bar briefly, and it wasn't that uncommon for some of the bar staff to hook up after hours when we'd either have a 'lock in', or even go clubbing, but again, it was the same guys getting laid who would also get laid if they were just out with their mates. In other words, their line of work was kind of irrelevant. It wasn't as though the nerdy ugly dude was suddenly banging all the hot girls just because he worked in a warehouse/restaurant/bar - even if he was teh shift manager lol

I personally never worked at a mall or a fast-food restaurant. However, in Atlanta, where I graduated from high school, my best friend was a 6'4" Hispanic guy who briefly worked at McDonald's. He was undocumented and was being raised by a single mother, so he needed the job. The area was basically made up of well-off Black families whose kids were somewhat ghetto, preppy white families, and undocumented Latino families.

He kept complaining about how early he had to start his shifts and how, because he was so tall, working the cash register constantly hurt his back. One night, we got home around 4:00 a.m., and his shift started at 7:00 a.m. That ended up being the day he quit. The point of this thread is that he didn't hook up with anyone there. Most of the people he brought around were just guys to play basketball with or smoked weed with.

After that, he got a job at Hollister. He really started doing well with women after getting hired, not only because he got a new wardrobe and a makeover, but also because it was a more prestigious place to work. I'm not sure whether he hooked up with any of his coworkers, but he got a bunch of phone numbers from customers and employees, and his popularity at school noticeably increased with the girls.

Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that your job and where you work can affect your social status. People generally won't view you the same way if you work at an undesirable, hole-in-the-wall place with a terrible reputation.

I know this may be tough for some guys to believe because the world to them is what Andrew Tate and the Manosphere tell them, but most prime women between the ages of 18-22 are either in university or working low level service jobs. I get it, you think every 18 young female is paying her bills through only fans, stripping, and sugar daddies! If you are a young guy at a restaurant surrounded by hot young waitresses and can’t get laid because you are a line cook despite the other other line cooks cleaning up then maybee it’s “you”!

Are you kidding me? I worked in the restaurant industry years ago and it was like a smash fest as someone said..call centers are just as bad if not worse, and so are warehouse jobs...lotta hooking up behind the scenes and drama

I think this has a lot to do with it. I was banging college aged girls when I was in my early 30's and I think it had to do with proximity and how I looked at the time.

The longer a woman knows someone, the less looks come into play.

The more comfortable someone is, the better they look.

Somewhat disagree, two things can be true at once. But you're oversimplifying

If you’re in management, it’s a lot easier to leverage status. One of my old managers at a call center used to hook up with girls on the floor, and it wasn’t a secret that the ones who did got the better accounts. That’s straight-up using rank for personal benefit.
For regular employees though? Yeah, it’s mostly proximity. I hooked up with a girl from the same call center and it had nothing to do with status we just worked next to each other every day.

Case in point: there are guys leveraging their status at work who otherwise wouldn’t get laid… or at the very least wouldn’t pull the quality of women they do specifically because they can use that status.
