I would mention/ask about their longest relationship on the 3rd date usually... I would mention my one serious relationship with a girl a went out with for 3 years during high school. Usually a week later they would ask to see a picture of her... Why... ?

But still, I don't think you could go too wrong by pulling a photo of a chimp w/ a tutu out of your wallet either. Just say (tounge in cheek) that she hadn't put her makeup on yet....The gal would get the hint right away...if she pressed on, then pull out the hottie pic...
