"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Since "myself" is an awesome guy, sure, being ME is great. However, being like most sheeple is not. :) If I wasn't a black belt, gunsmith, proven AA IPSC shottist, etc, I'd not be happy with me at all. I long ago achieved the things that I wanted most. Women rank several places below the things that matter most to me, and "the woman" has to be top notch in all the categories that I care about, or she doesn't rate consideration at all. the number one category? She has to really believe that I am hot stuff. :)

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Depends how one interprets the phrase.

I think a person is happiest if they act congruent with his or her nature. If one is introverted, be so. If one is extroverted, be so. This is how I interpret the saying.

This kind of enlightenment always seems to happen after the end of a good relationship where you invested alot and all of a sudden you go bankrupt and are left wondering what went wrong. It forces you to take a long hard look at yourself and the things you did wrong. If you want to become a better you, and better yourself you will fix the things you think you need to fix.

Listening to advice from others helps you figure things out to an extent but when you come here and start taking the advice of others blindly and applying it and get mixed results you're left wondering WTF is going on. WTF is going on is you're not being yourself you pretending to be the person that's giving you the advice without understanding it, simply because you haven't lived it.

The goal is to take the advice and use what you think is the right advice because the reason you agree with that advice is that's the person you are and only through trials and tribulations will you learn which advice allows you to still be the person you are and which advice requires you to become a different person.

The best way to grow as a person and truly become your best self is to experience things for yourself, because only then will you truly understand them and only then will you not have to think about things and pretend to be someone else. You will just incorporate them into your life because through your experience you become the person you are.

You can pretend to be someone else and succeed in getting laid but if you want something lasting the only way you're gonna find it is to be yourself and learn from your mistakes. Sometimes they can be painful but that other old saying that "We learn from our mistakes" that's just as important as "Just be yourself"

Learn from your mistakes, embrace them, it's only through making them that you will lose your insecurities because it's only then that you will truly understand them and incorporate that into your life. Naturals aren't naturals, they're just more experienced.

The Sperminator said:
Being myself never got me anything. The thing is a lot of ppl said I had a good personality too and I'm funny. But did I ever get girls...no. I got friend zoned. Until I figured out how to game girls. I still am the same guy just a more confident guy who knows the game. Your not being someone else your just improving yourself. Why do you go to school? To become smarter. Why do you workout? To get in shape. If your happy being dumb and fat then ok but most people aren't. We aren't saying to change your personality just improve it. If you like being alone and masturbating to porn all day long then ok but you probably don't. You can always improve yourself.

I agree with everything you point out, you are exactly right. I think it has a lot to do with confidence, how someone carries themself and the swagger they exude. I've always believed that a man shouldn't have to change himself just to win a woman's heart, that's not fair and it shows he's looking for her approval, but instead he should be confident in himself and have high self esteem, he should improve himself, not try and be something he isn't.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Personally guys, I think this might be the best, AND the worst advice in the world. Because I've seen many people to "try" to be themselves, and become someone else just because of that. I think the proper term should be to just relax yourself and be chill.
