I either make a funny joke, like that I like them morbidly obese

or

if the girls serious, you can just tell her that youre not looking for a girl period... and to have a certain list really closes off options. this has always worked really really well for me. makes it seem like you dont give a ****, makes you seem like a prize, and makes her even more curious and competitive. also makes you seem like you dont sit around thinking about what you want in a girl. overall, supremely baller move

I like it a lot..Only problem is, im on a dating site, looking fora girls lol. Im not sure how to put that into works to make me seem like the prize.

Maybe I can say something like, "not looking for anyone specific, bc having lists like that closes off my options"...???

Still makes it seems like im not desperate at the same time, still looking for someone.

Ive actually been said thatto before, she goes dont describe me. Thats basically qualifying you self herself which is the exact opposite of what you want when u first start out.

This. Actually I think it's the perfect opportunity for a joke, neg-hit etc. (depending on the context).

What's worse, I find, is when you're lying in bed with a girl and she asks you, "What are you thinking?" I can't really be honest and tell her that I'm planning out my Masters dissertation; she wants me to say something serious about the relationship...

Whether she replies or not doesn't really matter. It's a giant sign that she's interested... Either that or she has a female friend that likes you who she wants to hook you up with. Something along those lines, but very likely that SHE likes you.

Think about it, why would you ever ask a girl what she looks for in a guy?
