SS is all about self-improvement. Incels are basically a bunch of losers who chose to wallow in self-pity instead of pursuing self-improvement. Why would anyone want to co-opt their lexicon? Surely there are other words in the English language that one could use.

I agree. I've mentioned my dislike the term Chad and I will rarely use it. I use Alpha and Beta at times, which is more general Manosphere. There are other phrasings of things that can be use to express similar ideas.

Self-improvement itself can become cliche if that word is just thrown out and is tone-deaf as to what the realities are in the modern dating market or if it's not backed up by results by your own posts.

For example, you haven't had a new girl since the pandemic and you haven't portrayed cold-approach as a cake-walk if you are a 6-7, and have made various posts where social circle game didn't work, or other methods you've tried didn't work unless you persisted hard at it and scored here and there. You've also said social circle game didn't work with you. So, enlighten us and let us know about what self-improvement you did that actually lead to results APART from no-fap and no porn (ie as that would be divisive as not everyone will agree that qualifies)?

What you call wallowing in self-pity is what the black-pill refers to as coping. What you call self-improvement is a cliche term that is being tossed around that really has no meaning in today's dating market and sounds more and more tone-deaf. With more and more young people becoming sexless and there is more hypergamy, simping, and over-inflated women around, what makes you think that any amount of "self-improvement' or effort will lead anywhere as there will always be someone who presents better than you? Look at how many people wallow after low-interest women and make threads about this or that? It's mental anguish.

Personally I never understand these people moaning/crying and never used those terms. I don't need to compare myself with others. But that is what I guess these terms are used for.

Agreed. We often get caught up on concepts, terms, etc, and forget the actual idea behind it. It is simply part of human nature to label things to try to compartmentalize and make sense of things.

Just the same way we get caught up on who's Red Pill vs Blue Pill vs Purple Pill, etc. It's extremely difficult to box these concepts. To the point, we miss the point. The journey of becoming a man is slightly (or very) different for each of us and we perceive things differently based on our own "realities" and experiences.

But to your point, conceptualizing the Chads, etc is highly misleading and adds to the confusion of what is positive masculinity.

That's possible (maybe) with online dating. However, I'm not using online dating so that metric doesn't work with me. When dealing with cashiers and possibly a weak limited social circle that consists of people who may know you inside the store you are shopping in that are employed there, you don't have 30 or 50. You may get one or two people (if extremely lucky at that) where there is an awesome rapport, or you have to work-up the rapport volume with others over time.
