Don Juan
I dated a woman for several months, like an AFC, waiting until she got more comfortable or something like that. It never happened, we argued, and stopped seeing each other. That's what led me to forums like this one.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

THis is exactly what has happened to me many times.samspade said:The point is, I knew she wanted it. In fact, In knew she wanted on the first date - and in fact I knew she wanted it within five minutes of meeting her for the first time. I'm sure you've all been there, where it's written all over her face, and you know it's your poon to lose. Those are the best "waiting periods," because you have to play a card here, and a card there, but you know you hold all of the aces and she just wants to see them one at a time.
Any situation in which you aren't at least half certain of her sexual designs on you after Date One will probably turn into a waste of your time and money.
Remember, no woman can "make you wait" if you don't want to, but sometimes it pays to be a little patient.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Sureeee. I had a HOT stripper several months ago tell me she hadn't had sex in 3 yrs. Sorry chickie, but it doesn't work on the guy who has a good knowledge of the game.NewMan said:She told me she had not got laid in almost a year
Maybe, maybe not - but I don't really care - got what I wanted out of it...Sureeee. I had a HOT stripper several months ago tell me she hadn't had sex in 3 yrs. Sorry chickie, but it doesn't work on the guy who has a good knowledge of the game.
Lol. That's right. But I guess as long as you're seeing other women, getting your life on, getting your game on and don't go overboard with your female friend, you're doing ok. That's not waiting. Life is what happens while you're making other plans :crazy:R19 said:For those of us that have female friends that we are attracted to, but not effed yet, isn't the answer 'still waiting'?
Trying to wake up AFCs so that they don't waste time with girls with no/low IL or goldiggers, you're going to the other extreme. Practically you're making sure you're eliminating all quality prospects with this 3 date rule. One can test the woman's interest through her body language, how happy she is being with you and by the slow progression of intimacy (which starts with touching, kissing, making out). One needs time to build emotional connection so that when it comes to sex, it's a special occasion, not just 2 people rubbing genitals.3 dates (and I mean real dates, none of this coffee / lunch crap) over the course of 3 weeks should be ample time to make the assessment as to whether a woman has interest and attraction enough to become intimate. Anything beyond this is indicative of filibustering on a woman's part and usually points to an only lukewarm IL if at all. In this way a 3 Strike rule benefits both men and women; why would either sex want to engage in a relationship that was lackluster from the start? Why would either want to be involved with a person who was settled on or settled for?
It's urgency and anxiety that makes for genuine, chemical-fueled sexual desire - not comfort, not familiarity. This is precisely why I say Any woman who makes you wait for sex, or by her actions implies she is making you wait for sex; the sex is NEVER worth the wait.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
I think it's a combination of personal morality/chastity (derived from wherever) and the level of interest. I could definitely see some women thinking that with a Beta, they will make him wait a while, but if during that time there is a chance with an Alpha, the legs will spread wide, and if a kid results, the Beta will be required to start spinning StepFatherGame to stay in orbit. The length of time that some women wait is not a indication of their interest level in you so much as an indication of the depth of her mother's "teachings".
Like it or deny it, that is probably still the most powerful factor driving a woman's sexual behavior.
