Ten years ago, a gf of mine had the depo shot, and it made her bleed for months. But a different gf now is on the shot and has no such problem. Maybe the shot has improved, I don't know. This nuvaring thing is supposed to be the most effective birth control, because the hormone dose is steady, and you can't miss a day like with the pill. However, antibiotics still make it ineffective just like with the pill.

Guys, don't let it freak you out! If you finger a girl up by her g-spot, it feels like there's a rolled-up condom stuffed up there. Now that you have read this thread, you can avoid the mood-killing, "uh, wtf is that thing shoved up your pvssy?" I like the idea of this nurvaring thing. It serves as proof the girl is using birth control where as with the pill how can you be sure. That is if you can make sure it's not some used rolled up condom stuck in her .
