Personally I left US because I think it's heading towards revolution by November this year. Think Obama assassination, and Americans in FEMA camps. But based on economy, 28% employments if not more, unofficial numbers. I think not such a good idea.

To the OP: Sounds like an interesting venture. Off the top of my head things I can think that you need are at least 2 guys for labor, a truck, straps, blankets, boxes, tape, packing material. Advertising costs, website, phone book, etc.

Cover your azz and get a business license, and find some insurance. Remember you might have a family's entire possessions in your truck.

You need to be talking with other successful moving company business owners about your plans.

One time I was moving, and had quite a bit of crap to get rid off. I ended calling a company that specialized in coming to your house, taking all your stuff, and hauling it to the dump. No worries about breaking stuff.

I used the guy a couple of times, and we started talking about where I was moving, etc, so he invited me over to his house to chill. He lived nearby, so I went over, as he sounded like an interesting character.

this one guy, (from somewhere in Europe/Eastern europe, I couldn't place his accent) owned two big houses on this one block, and the hour or two I was there he must have answered his phone twenty times from people want their shyte thrown out.

He didn't do squat. He had a group of guys, some trucks, and he phone them with the address, and they'd take of the rest.

Plenty of ways to make money, OP.
