I used to do consultancy work for a group that supervised the construction of Embassies in amongst other places Saudi Arabia.....Two Guys there did long tours of duty over there,from what they told me,they would have preferred Alcatraz or Devils Island LOL.

I'm not sure any other country has free speech rights like the US. Many of the other developed countries have made being offensive into a civil tort, so if you hurt my feelings I get to sue you. But it only seems to be enforced against people the government doesn't like.
