Once a woman hits 40, its really really hard for her to connect a decent guy, let alone any guy. Most single guys aren't looking to date 40 year women and above.

Men want sex from younger women, and companionship and conversation with older women. So their best bet would be: be with an older woman from Monday to Friday. Then have sex with a hot young mistress on the weekends, preferably from South Korea.

I kind of half or mostly agree. On the one hand, if you want to spend your old time with 21 year old girls all the time, and you can do it, I'm not going to hold it against you. At my age, it seems a bit silly. On the other hand, none of us keep our 21 year old bodies forever, so it's not realistic or very empathetic to expect that from women. Women can't stay 21 forever. Although like Matthew McConaughy said in Dazed and Confused:
"That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age. Yes, they do."

My girlfriend is 15 years younger than I am, although that seems more impressive when she was 27 than it does now.

I had a friend who was 52, managed some Pizza Huts, he was regularly banging the 18 year olds. Surprised he never got into trouble.

Best case would be to take the mind of a 60 year old man and place it in a 25 years old man. That's why we we say 40 is the king years, because it half way, still have some body and already have part of the mind. Its the equal mix. And yes testosterone is the catalyst. It is literally the fuel that runs the engine.

The young fellas can not get a lifetime of experience. They can choose to listen to those that have it, but that's very different from livening it. The decision process in an older mind is literally and chemically different than in a young dude. I have personal experience in both category. For what its worth, when younger I though I was smarter....

There are some very old athletes that would rock the world vs a most young men and lifeways some very young smarties that can run circles around most old. But in average, young wins the body and old wins the mind. So based on that you can apply game theory to figure what is going on. Walking into a bar full of young women full of hormones looking for excitement is a losing situation for an old guy, usually.

In short, the young guys should play young man game. Leave old man game to old men, as they will not beat an old man at old man game. Now.. does the same apply the other way... should old men leave young men game to young men.. the jury is still out on that.

By the way, DiCaprio is in a lot of my favorite movies: The Aviator, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (although that's more for Brad Pitt). There are other good movies he's in, but those are my favorites (of those he's in).

He's kind of getting out of shape in his old age though.

I've always tended to see 28 as a male peak of sorts, mainly physically. A 28 year old athlete is often at the very top of his game, and it's a fairly perfect age for attracting women as well. 40s is also a peak of sorts for men, they are more mature and probably have better social skills, and better finances. It mostly depends on what you are talking about. I would say if you are talking about picking up women of a certain age (18-24), the 28 year old guy is better situated. Although I dated girls in their 20s when I was in my 40s, I also did when I was in my 20s. I'd say by the time a guy is 28 he reaches a peak of sorts.

I agree on that magic number, had my peak exactly there 27-29.

The fact you continue to try and get women in their early 20s when you are 40 makes me wonder if you still are mentally in your early 20s and not 40.

The only way men can peak in their 40s is by achieving a lot of wealth or status and then using that leverage to get hot women. It works better in cities like Miami and New York where a lot of women are transactional. The vast majority of men aren't going to achieve that wealth or status. They also aren't going to be able to retain or even improve their looks the way Hollywood pretty boys are often able to.

Society has also changed as well. Women used to be taught to marry well so would be open to marrying a much older man if he was a successful doctor, lawyer etc. Now especially in big cities women are delaying marriage later and later so have an extended adolescence where they continue chasing feelings and drama and excitement which they get from hot guys a similar age to them.

So I'd say 30s are the sweet spot for most men. Dating is expensive so you do need to have some means (unless you're a bartender or in a band or so good looking women will just jump into bed with you). The 25-35 demographic especially in a major city is a good pool to fish in.

If you weren't cool and popular in high school/college then having some success in your career and getting some experience with women will improve your confidence and game. If you look after yourself your looks will probably improve especially if you're working hard in the gym and getting a bit more maturity in your face without very visible signs of aging.

I'd discourage men from playing the field too much in your 30s thinking that in your 40s you can settle down and find a young wife. It is a lot harder to pull off in this day and age unless you can find a foreign woman from a more traditional culture who wants to be a housewife. Even then she is likely to be very demanding in terms of the lifestyle she expects and it won't be a love match.
