Nobody on here is DiCaprio in terms of fame, wealth or status. People need to stop living in fantasy land.tell that to dicaprio
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

“well that guys famous so it’s fine if he wants to bang as many early 20 year olds, who are “in a completely different stage of life”, for as long as he likes. but like u guys cant. cus thats so immature. so like stop doing that”.Nobody on here is DiCaprio in terms of fame, wealth or status. People need to stop living in fantasy land.
The point is that as you get older and mature and gain life perspective, what should be important changes.“well that guys famous so it’s fine if he wants to bang as many early 20 year olds, who are “in a completely different stage of life”, for as long as he likes. but like u guys cant. cus thats so immature. so like stop doing that”.
how about no
I don't think so.Women have it infinitely better than men, with regards to dating, at every age
Weak morality, IMO.Men want sex from younger women, and companionship and conversation with older women. So their best bet would be: be with an older woman from Monday to Friday. Then have sex with a hot young mistress on the weekends, preferably from South Korea.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
I kind of half or mostly agree. On the one hand, if you want to spend your old time with 21 year old girls all the time, and you can do it, I'm not going to hold it against you. At my age, it seems a bit silly. On the other hand, none of us keep our 21 year old bodies forever, so it's not realistic or very empathetic to expect that from women. Women can't stay 21 forever. Although like Matthew McConaughy said in Dazed and Confused:The point is that as you get older and mature and gain life perspective, what should be important changes.
And chasing 21 year old women around ain't it.
By the way, DiCaprio is in a lot of my favorite movies: The Aviator, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (although that's more for Brad Pitt). There are other good movies he's in, but those are my favorites (of those he's in).Nobody on here is DiCaprio in terms of fame, wealth or status. People need to stop living in fantasy land.
I agree on that magic number, had my peak exactly there 27-29.I've always tended to see 28 as a male peak of sorts, mainly physically. A 28 year old athlete is often at the very top of his game, and it's a fairly perfect age for attracting women as well. 40s is also a peak of sorts for men, they are more mature and probably have better social skills, and better finances. It mostly depends on what you are talking about. I would say if you are talking about picking up women of a certain age (18-24), the 28 year old guy is better situated. Although I dated girls in their 20s when I was in my 40s, I also did when I was in my 20s. I'd say by the time a guy is 28 he reaches a peak of sorts.
Na it has to be because we're insecure, didnt u watch tv recently?cmon bro. women in their 20 are hotter and more feminine. its simple
Guess all wealthy succesfull men are mentally in their early 20s then..has to be the reason for all the extra energy, right? The fact you continue to try and get women in their early 20s when you are 40 makes me wonder if you still are mentally in your early 20s and not 40.
So the issue is not being mature or have nothing in common with those girls? And also have zero on common with someone who is at a completely different stage of life.
Everyone has to grow up sometime. Can't stay in Neverland forever for all the Peter Pans out there.
Ah ok so the issue is not being popular and rich enough to obtain it? is it the final answer or you would like to add some shaming about immature men?Nobody on here is DiCaprio in terms of fame, wealth or status. People need to stop living in fantasy land.
Standard case of the fox and the grapes.“well that guys famous so it’s fine if he wants to bang as many early 20 year olds, who are “in a completely different stage of life”, for as long as he likes. but like u guys cant. cus thats so immature. so like stop doing that”.

What happen next? But the window closes for everyone eventually, and it closes faster than most men expect.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
And no dig at OP, but that especially BECAUSE men think like this. Because men believe their peak is at 40. In my culture ( Latin American/Caribbean) men sometimes believe they won't even make it to 40....I do think this is a cope, but my interpretation is that the peak potential of a man is probably in his 30s/40s, maybe up to 50 in some cases. An older man who has aged well and is good looking, fit, charismatic, masculine, wealthy, resourceful, high status etc WILL be at his peak and he may literally have more options/leverage and SMV than a hot 20 year old college chick. But a very, very, very small percentage of men meet this criteria.
Well, I'm not very old, so maybe this will change when I'm in my 40s, but I have not really noticed any correlation between age and common interests, shared values, etc. I rarely have anything in common with women of any age as it is, but when I do I can confidently say i've had equally meaningful connections with women who were in early 20s and mid 30s and everything in between. And also have zero on common with someone who is at a completely different stage of life.

I think I came up with it from observing tennis players.I agree on that magic number, had my peak exactly there 27-29.
agreed. but it doesn’t have to be on a macro level like trying be the highest status guy in new york city. that’s a 0.000000001% endeavorThe only way men can peak in their 40s is by achieving a lot of wealth or status and then using that leverage to get hot women.
you can achieve the same result (get girls u otherwise shouldn’t) on a micro level like having status in a chain food restaurantThe vast majority of men aren't going to achieve that wealth or status
I had a friend who was 52, managed some Pizza Huts, he was regularly banging the 18 year olds.
dunno about that. sephora and ulta are goated for looksmaxxing lolThey also aren't going to be able to retain or even improve their looks the way Hollywood pretty boys are often able to.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
agreed. but it doesn’t have to be on a macro level like trying be the highest status guy in new york city. that’s a 0.000000001% endeavor
in NYC? no lol. that’s ur avg 1st year wall st bankerConsider that by having these meeting these two qualities alone: 1) $100k a year income 2) having a 6 pack - you are already exceeding the top 1%. Throw in more qualities like being 5'10 or taller, good looking, masculine, charismatic, never married/no kids, etc you are basically an anamoly
I'm comparing it to national US averages...Both men and women in NYC and LA/SoCal are skewing the bell curve a lot. Of course you have to do more to stand out in a place like NY, that's why people say things like "I'm a 9, or a New York 6".in NYC? no lol. that’s ur avg 1st year wall st banker
Kinda if topic, but I specifically highlighted this part because I'm reading through the comments and the next thing came to mind;Guess all wealthy succesfull men are mentally in their early 20s then..has to be the reason for all the extra energy, right?
.
True but not everyone matures the same way either. And also have zero on common with someone who is at a completely different stage of life.
Everyone has to grow up sometime. Can't stay in Neverland forever for all the Peter Pans out there.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
