"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

My daughter is also involved. I know there's a way to go about doing full blown no contact without seeing the mother and being there for my child. Just the thought of anther man being there with the person I helped make a baby with that I would be paying for through child support appals me. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Be a rock for your daughter. Remember all f.ed up stuff we see on this forum, a lot of it is because these women didn't have proper dads. Tough it out, get over your ex for her. Improve your life. Draw boundaries to protect you and your kid, and hold your ex accountable. Living well really is the best revenge. Handle your business as they say here and don't worry about no contact. Be too busy for no contact.

Stand by your daughter.

One thing I will say is threads like this justify my reason for never wanting to have children.
