Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

My daughter is also involved. I know there's a way to go about doing full blown no contact without seeing the mother and being there for my child. Just the thought of anther man being there with the person I helped make a baby with that I would be paying for through child support appals me. But hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Suggestions?

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

Be a rock for your daughter. Remember all f.ed up stuff we see on this forum, a lot of it is because these women didn't have proper dads. Tough it out, get over your ex for her. Improve your life. Draw boundaries to protect you and your kid, and hold your ex accountable. Living well really is the best revenge. Handle your business as they say here and don't worry about no contact. Be too busy for no contact.

Stand by your daughter.

One thing I will say is threads like this justify my reason for never wanting to have children.
