Ratings don't do anything. What DOES work is reporting the post as spam by clicking the little red warning triangle. That sends a message to the mod inbox.

Hey I don't know much about bodybuilding, but it seems every 2 weeks some guys is talking about how some random supplement magically changed his life.

Does taking specific Vitamin C supplements really make a noticeable difference? I mean I eat lots of fruit and some veggies anyway, and take multivitamins from time to time.

Vitamin D is the more important vitamin to take when sick, as it contains Cathelicidin, which the immune cells use to defend against foreign invaders. Basically the cells attach to the invadees membrane and inject granules inside that explode, destroying the invading cell. The more Cathelicidin available, the more granules are produced, and the quicker the body can fight off the sickness. Some people have said to take 50,000 IU of Vitamin D at the first sign of sickness, but I have only gone up to about 10,000 IU...
