Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Thanks, my friend. You obviously know good stuff when you see it!Von_S said:This is some dynamite sh!t vatoloco, keep it coming.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Buy a voice recorder from eBay and keep it in your car. Or on your person, and just record your thoughts.vatoloco said:Thanks, my friend. You obviously know good stuff when you see it!
I got so much stuff in my head that I need to put down on paper but I'm either away from the computer when the inspiration hits, or I get sidetracked with all the shit I have to do on a daily basis.
Hopefully I'll be able to post more of my thoughts and observations soon...
Actually, I've started using the "Voice Recorder" app on my phone to make quick notes to myself: "Talk about X, Y and don't forget Z."Vice said:Buy a voice recorder from eBay and keep it in your car. Or on your person, and just record your thoughts.
Some of them I am sure do, but I would have to say that I think the vast majority of them don't. We have a huge entitlement problem in this world. Especially women. Unfortunately.Viagra4Soul said:I wonder if women, seeing men appraoch them (in all states of various being, lets face it) decide the same thing in their heads: "I can't judge him too quickly - look at the courage this is taking".
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Baby pics and no baby daddy pics? Hrmm... Somethings up, and if I were a man of low morals I would start moving in on that. However I don't fvck with OPP or single moms. Vatoloco I suspect you are a man of character as well.vatoloco said:although she's more than likely married, there were no pictures of any guy.

And that's why I made a mental note. The baby in the picture looked fairly young and I don't really know if it is indeed hers but still, good observations to make.Von_S said:Baby pics and no baby daddy pics? Hrmm... Somethings up,
Yeah, not my thing either. The only time I will fuck them (AND if they're unattached and I'm unattached) is if they're hot.and if I were a man of low morals I would start moving in on that. However I don't fvck with OPP or single moms. Vatoloco I suspect you are a man of character as well.
Well, I finally got around to it. Rollo's post today reminded me!vatoloco said:I'm looking to add a third motorcycle to my stable so I scour Craigslist every morning to see what turns up. Most of it is overpriced trash but from time to time you find gems out there (LOL, I just realized that this is exactly like women -- maybe one of these days I'll make a motorcycles/women post!).
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
