Master Don Juan
Ha, good one, the both of ya's.
She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Senor Fingers, some of your posts are legend, and will be a part of sosuave history.Señor Fingers said:@My potential banning
It's in your hands folks, I wont stay if I am not wanted.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
I have sat and watched this too. I can't say I am surprised.Señor Fingers said:I am asking for forgiveness here so that I can be a credit to this community again, some of you are very forgiving (LOL at the "queer eye" comment) yet others of you feel compelled to spit in my face and kick me while I'm down.
I'm not going to invalidate your feelings. I'm sure you have your reasons for being so upset and jumping to conclusions. You may not grant me pardon, but I forgive you despite your hatred.
I actually try to avoid those. (Flame wars). It got pretty bad here a few months ago, and at one point I was really really upset, but I sat back, went and read some history. I read what they did to Wyldfire, and how she just wouldn't back down, even when it wasn't even worth it to fight.Gaucho said:One more question for IQQI, since the days I used to post here a lot (also under another screen name), I always wondered WTF were you even doing here? I had a lot of respect for Wyldfire, who gave good advice and actually cared to argue against all the nobs and newbs here who are simply 15-18 year olds with loud mouths, but what do you post about? I only see you in flame wars, not sure if you enjoy the drama or what?
Fingz wtf man...Señor Fingers said:I am asking for forgiveness here so that I can be a credit to this community again, some of you are very forgiving (LOL at the "queer eye" comment) yet others of you feel compelled to spit in my face and kick me while I'm down.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
Ok well here's what I'm wondering:Mr.Positive said:We do not wish to see you banned, however, some of us are wondering if, in fact, you are Iqqi!
Probably my favourite quote. I bring this up when something really bad happens, and I'm sure most people that know me well would gave heard me telling it to them at one time.An old man and his son worked a small farm, with only one horse to pull the plow. One day the horse ran away.
"How terrible," sympathized the neighbors. "What bad luck!"
"Who knows whether it is bad or good luck" replied the farmer.
A week later, the horse returned from the mountains, leading five wild mares into the barn.
"What wonderful luck!" said the neighbors.
"Good luck? Bad luck? Who knows?" answered the old man.
The next day the son, trying to tame one of the horses, fell and broke his leg.
"How horrible. What bad luck!"
"Bad luck? Good luck?"
The army came to all the farms to take young men for war, but the farmer's son was of no use to them, so he was spared.
"Good? Bad?"
This often comes up when I'm bored or pondering and I think about this. I forgot it was from Finz.Instead of seeing a fragrant eucalyptus tree we have never seen before and admiring it's unique fractal patterns, our minds chime in with "Oh, It's a tree" and destroys the magic of the experience.
Potbelly, sometimes my humor gets the best of me...I apologize if it was misinterpreted.Potbelly said:Ok well here's what I'm wondering:
Do you have a fvcking life? I don't think you do amn...you care so damn much about this forum and people on the forum who could have 10000 screennames.
WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD GIVE A SH1TTTT??????
I am blown out of my mind by this obsessive bullsh1t.... When was the last time you saw the sun man???\
Fingz is right...rep is everything... People didn't treat Crotch Sniffer too seriously, even when he posted great advice, and when Fingz posts people flock to him. Naturally. But seriously, take the face off the advice given here and judge its validity for yourself, not based on some screenname.
alright i'm gonna go do something productive now. peace all (or maybe I'm going to log off and sign on again on one of my approximately 10591 other SNs....WHO KNOWS??? think about it...obsess over it...I hope you do.)
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
