"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I've been told to just treat girls like my male friends (to a degree). I did this and the girls say "I'm a girl you know". Bah!
I've noticed my guy friends acting totally different around girls, this pisses me off because it seems insincere.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

The only reason I could see to treat girls like male friends, is to not put them on a pedestal, or idolize them. However how are you supposed to flirt with them, if you treat them like a male friend. If you don't like her that way, you wouldn't be worried about how you treat her.

By Treat them like your male friends, most seductionists mean "don't put her on a pedestal unless you're willing to climb to sit beside her". This does not mean to loudly fart and saw "wow, I'll give it a four since I didn't have any warning it was coming...". ;)

When I am with a platonic female friend, I don't get into the mushy crap of "you look stunning this evening" nor do I buy flowers, jewelry, or anything else that is possibly construed as a play to get in her undies. When she knocks on the door, I tell her "It's open" as I do with male friends. When she looks hot, I do my best to ignore it. (Lesson learned, try to find a female friend with smaller breasts if you like women with bigger breasts, mine drives me up the walls when she wears tight sweaters.) ;)

Otherwise, forget that she is a woman. Treat her as a human, not as a gender. Invite her over, split a six pack (if you are of age). Play cards, Xbox, go out clubbing, shoot some pool, just don't treat her like she is a flower that must be handed like a flower.

No roughhousing, or anything like that. Just avoid both ends of the spectrum.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

This is great advice on how to treat a female friend, although I'm thinking the original poster is asking if he should treat girls he is ROMANTICALLY interested in as friends as a ploy to get in their pants.

My answer to that would be: no. You have a lot of experience to have. Read a LITTLE bit from this site, on what NOT to do, and then go out into the real world. You aren't going to get much from a forum except interesting stories. That's what I come here for at least.

Yeah, you probably should treat a "female friend" like a male friend. The problem I see is that you might ask said friend for sex. Male friends don't have sex with each other so my advice would be don't pressure her. Just stafy friends.

When you treat a girl you are interested in like one of the guys. You will most likely just look like the typical guy. Mixing flirting with being a dumb ass, lol

But they are right. It simply means. Don't give them extra attention. Talk to them like any other person. If you truly talked to them like one of the guys. You would be saying "damn look at that ass, she is a hottie" right in front of her. That wont get you any bonus points. But you do want to just be comfortable around her, just like you would with your guy friends.

If you like her. Just throw in some compliments and flirt with her a bit. Make her want you... When guys are with their guy friends.. they don't act like pansies and stick their tain between legs and become a harmless puppy dog. They are confident and fun. And thats what a worthy woman likes. Leave it up the the girls to like a ****y immature idiot.

Good luck

That sh*t got me laughing so hard. Imagine wrestling your girl friend, or slapboxing. HAHAHAHAH
