"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Why are some women so pissy about being touched?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Not many people like being touched, let alone have their private space invaded by a stranger.

I've never had objections to kino on the arm. Sometimes, when I go in for a hug, there's an objection. I don't go in for a hug until I personally feel a connection. At that point, if she objects, she probably has issues. One person that did object when I tried to give her a hug, came out of a hurtful relationship. Her defense was that she first wanted to be friends a long time.

If you just touched the arm or shoulder, that's cool. If you went for her jewels, and had just met, that's a different story. Need details to say, but you get the point.

Personal space is a big deal for some people. Personally, I hate being touched by people I don't know very well, let alone strangers.

What kind of kino are you referring to? Because the arm/shoulder is universally okay, but if you don't know the girl and are touching her all over, yeah, I can definitely understand why she'd be "pissy".

I'm the same way. I don't prefer when people I barely know guy or gal stick there arms around me shoulder like we are best buds.
