He's a pick up artist. Not really the same mentality you'll find on here. Personally, I think the guy is a sleezy marketing guy. He's just selling a product and while he might care about his "students", I don't think he teaches men to properly improve themselves. But I don't know that for a fact, so take it with a grain of salt.

I bought his book day bang, it was worth the read, he had a lot of info and interesting things to say, and a good guide to really indirect approaches

I very rarely pull the race card but I will in this case. Roosh V is an actual racial bigot. He has written disparaging things about black guys and Africans on his Return of Kings website comment section. I have asked him what his issue was with black dudes in the comment section but he just ignores my question. That being said...he is a very talented writer and is very insightful. Over a decade ago when I was in college I bought the book Bang. I bought it to support his cause but there was nothing really useful in it. It was too rudimentary for me. His pick up advice is not very good as I was already advanced at the initial stages of seduction. What he shines at is his social commentary and his commentary on the psyche of women. He is a genius in that regard. I will never financially support him again because of his irrational stance on race but I will not deny that the guy really understands social forces and the female psyche. His blog Roosh V has a lot of articles that are gems.

Bang and day Bang are ok but they are probably too basic. Most of the same pick up advice is already on the internet for free. The main battle in seduction is not getting the girl back to your place. Its not even having sex with her. Its having repeated sex with her. Thats what is very difficult for most men. Keeping a hot chick is often harder than getting physical with her. Bang and Day Bang do not address that.

His blog addresses that though. Bang is like mid 2000's pick up advice. But any decent player is already doing that stuff. The game has changed since he wrote Bang. Now you have social media and instgram and text messaging and tinder etc. So the battle is not the "bang". Its what happens after the "bang". I don't think those books are gonna be useful unless you are starting from absolute zero in terms of game.

I read both of his books. There are interesting to read but there is little valuable information on them. I adopted simplistic messaging model from his book and try indirect approach few times.

On ROK, Roosh has posted a lot of stuff on self-improvement. I remember articles about working out and stoic philosophy off the top of my head. He's seemed to develop a mgtow tone over the years.
