They all have a time and place depending on what the occasion is. I recommend for social (drinking) events candies for men, and givenchy. I don't like smelling like musk in terms of the polos and heavy colognes. Givenchy smells a little bit like vanilla, which the girls go nuts over.

CHROME

Chrome by Azzaro is the absolute best. Coolwater would be next.

Here's something that you should all know:

Guy's are horrible at picking out cologne. Make sure to get numerous opinions from women before you make a purchase.

If YOU think it smells good, the chances are that women won't like it.

I posted this topic on bad girl swirl site for a female opiniion

You know how we are not supposed to take famales advice about dating stuff? well this is one topic where the girls opinions are the ones that count!!

Here are the colognes they mentioned...i was supprised at how much chicks know about guys colognes!!

Swiss Army - mentioned twice

Romance - ralph lauren - mentioned twice

Aqua De Gio - Armani

Polo Sport

Emporio Armani

Gucci Envy

Victorias Secret

Polo Blue

Cerutti Image

Joop

Eternity

Issey Mike - recommended for a signature scent

Latitude

Perry Ellis (reserve or 360)

Abercrombi

Aramis

Its interesting that two said that they just wanted us clean with no cologne.

Anyway. Im thinking of putting up a new and updated poll for the colognes and omitting some of the ones with a lower vote....anyone up for another vote???

Really? Every Cologne I've picked out over the last few years I've gotten compliments on.

Here are some i like... right now im using VERSACE METAL JEANS, its not bad, but not the greatest IMHO... MY ratings are in parentheses out of 10 off the top of my head:

- Kenneth Cole New York (9/10): Not super light fragrance, not too thick.. VERY nice. Its more subtle, but smells awesome
- Nautica Competition (8.5/10): Better than Latitude Longitude (which i also really like). A 'sharper' scent than Kenneth Cole NY, sportier. A tiny bit stronger than 'Lat/long'
- CK Crave (8/10): At first i didnt like it at all, way too fruity. But once applied, the high fruity tones are more subtle, and you end up with a very nice fragrance.
- Azzaro Chrome (8/10): A heavier fragrance, but still very nice. More formal.
- Swiss Army Altitude (8.5/10): A good daily wear cologne, not too light, but not too heavy imho
- Bvlgari Blv (8.5/10): This is a VERY nice cologne thats not mentioned that much. Slightly thicker scent.
- DKNY Men (8/10): A light fresh scent. Not fruity, not overpowering. I have a feeling it would fade fast though.
- Polo Blue (7.5/10): IMHO not too spectacular. The guy was hyping it alot and stuff, sayinhow its the next best thing for young guys... i dont buy it...
- Aqua Di Gio (8.5-9/10): I cant totally remmeber what it smelled like, but i think it was a fresher scent, similar to Nautica Competition.

Just some i've tried... i love shopping for cologne... even though i dont buy it often, i love the scents...

Also, i dont know why, but i absolutely HATE the scents from TOMMY HILFIGER...

Green Irish Tweed by Creed, very popular and highly regarded. If you’re searching for exclusivity, this is the one. It's a gentleman's fragrance.

Curve!

Curve all the way...

Over the years...THAT one has stood the test of time and gotten the most "What on earth are you wearing?"s from random girls when I am out and about.

Also, not that many peeps wear it...it has a distinctive smell, that's for sure...very masculine.

One word is all you need to know - Burberry.

I wear this stuff (and I have many of the colognes listed) and the reaction is amazing. The only problem is that you have to really douse yourself in it, otherwise the effect isn't that great. :)

Burberry is awesome. It smells like a cedar chest. But I love the smell. Where can you get it??
On weekend days I still like Old Spice. Just on the weekend’s though, and Just in the day.

Burberry eh ?

is that burberry touch or burberry london?

Fahrenheit and acqua di Gio are 2 i have just started to wear out,
also been told "blue jeans" is pretty good.

does anyone know from first hand experience if the imitation colognes are just as good as the real deal?, Im thinking of trying a few out cause the real ones are so damn expensive.
