I liked it. A lot

But maybe its not a good movie on its own merits. I feel this could have been a mediocre movie if you took away the Mario IP and used new characters instead.

But as it is, it felt like a movie made for the fans. Basically 90 minutes of pure fan service.

Hope they make a Nintendo Cinematic Universe like Marvel. The NCU

If you are a big fan of the games, then yes, totally worth it and enjoyable imho. Its a popcorn movie.

I like that John Legu whatever guy but maybe he is just butthurt they didnt ask him to collaborate on the movie. Just my impression, I could be wrong.

Appently the movie is being very succesfull in many metrics, despite the woke and lgbt+ community trying to boicott it for not being woke and inclusive.

Yeah, I guess you are on to something. The MCU has not been the same after Endgame.

I mean, I liked the Spiderman Movies a lot but most MCU stuff post endgame has been Medicore vs before Endgame I liked everything Eexcept Captain Marvel. Maybe they should have stop introducing new characters after Endgame and just finish the remaining contracts/storylines like Spider-Man, Guardians vol 3, Loki, etc.

Had to go see it cause my friend's nephews wanted to. It is definitely a kid's movie. But you can tell Hollywood's rampant feminism struck again as we saw Princess Peach turned into an annoying female action character that not only took the spotlight, but she could beat up anyone, was never hurt, and she belittles everyone around her. Sounds familiar? Cause it is. Mario's name is on the title but it's technically a Peach movie. The Rey Skywalker trope strikes again.
