You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

"get it?" -got itThe author of this thread mentions an article written by Sisonpyh. For those of you who aren't aware, the article was written over 7 years ago, and "Sisonpyh" is none other than David DeAngelo himself. Here's a link to the thread:

DeAngelo used the name Sisonpyh back in the early days of the asf newsgroups.
Why did u bump a 19 year old thread?"get it?" -got it
Great thread reference.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Why not?Why did u bump a 19 year old thread?
Yes I think you are right. We have only limited access to our subconscious and I would suspect women being more emotional and less rational even more so ^^I've noticed that this works in pick-up environments, too...girls that are attracted to you in clubs or bars (or in other places where they can easily walk by, slowly, closely) WILL DO SO...I always try to smell each of these girls as they walk past...
first of all, it gives you more information...you may not be able to process this consciously, but it gives your animal mind good data...if you smell something you like, your interest will rise...if you don't smell anything, you'll forget about her...try this and see if it works for you...
second of all, after testing this for a few months, I'm also convinced that girls notice this...even when you're subtle and quiet about it, they notice subconsciously...maybe it's a woman thing, but they seem to be more interested after I do this...
