Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

What's up guys!

I've noticed that there's a lot of negativity around here and that there aren't so many positive threads. I know I’ve whined about stuff too, but I want to balance it out. So I thought I'd start a positive thread.
Post the thing about you that makes you feel good. It can be anything from a pair of socks to your life principles, as long as it makes you FEEL GOOD about yourself.
This thread is meant to bring out the positive stuff inside of us, so I hope you'll keep it alive.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Funny I posted in the negative thread. Now i'll post in the positive.

One thing that has really helped me recently is reading things like the Bhagavad Ghita and other Eastern Religions.

They talk about the importance of Detachment.

In a way detachment makes you neutral, but still it is way better than being negative, and generally when you don't sweat stuff as much (which being detached allows you to do) your natural positive state will return.

Now If I could just stay in this state.

Well there are two ways I've found to amplify it

Exercise and eating well

and also music (so it's 3 ways)

Tony Robbins even recommends listing all the things and ways that you have to make yourself feel good. There are actually alot of ways. Keep those in mind!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
