For me, nothing beats trance music.

Tunes I stick to:

Anything from Robert Miles Dreamland album. Especially: "Children and "Fable" will always pump my iron.

Of course, not to forget: Dj Tiesto :)
Magik 1-6, Nyana, In Search of Sunrise... Anything by Tiesto is good.

Try d/l his tune called "traffic" and see if u like it. My recent favorite!

So yeah, trance is the $hit.
The beats are perfect for working out and just for experiencing pure euphoria.

beach boys, abba, and bee gees.

haha just kidding. i don't listen to anything. im too poor to waste cash on an mp3 player, and my cd player is ghetto as hell (panasonic anti-shock, dates back to 1995), and it's so old that it skips all the time even on clean cds.

so i just listen to whatever they play at the gym. and since my gym is heavily populated with HBs, they tend to play a lot of R&B/pop unfortunately (doing squats while listening to hilary duff is my personal hell by the way) . ah well, it's the price you have to pay for being in spandex sl*t heaven.

edit - every once in a while tho, when my buddy works at the desk, he'll play some AC/DC, Metallica, Rollins n sh!t, and I'll have some of the best workouts possible lol.

Nice, I usually play that type of stuff or Death or Thrash Metal when working out. Works very well.

I just got a small mp3 player and i like listening to techno/dance music while working out. It helps me go a bit harder during the workout.

I like to do the Tool when I'm working out....can't really go wrong

Either Aenima or Lateralus will get put in and depending on the mood I usually tend to listen to the Salival disc (A live CD the band pulled from the shelves for whatever reason).....If lifted damn near impossibleweight listening to 'Pu$hit' off of salival....that song kicks ass.

Blink is right....I like rap but it doesn't get me in lifting mood
