You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
In the final weeks she often "joked" about going "a few days" without taking the pill (laughing while she was saying it) and even despite all the bullsh*t that happened in the final weeks was talking about how she wanted to have kids with me soon.Wow... It is a good thing she did not get pregnant... You would have been so screwed.

Wrong mindset dude. What do you mean "another 6.5 weeks to go?" That suddenly everything is going to be fine come 6.5 weeks time and you'll have no further emotions then? That day in 6.5 weeks comes and goes, what then? That everything will be fine? Forget counting days like you are doing. Think long term that this is the new normal, until you get into a new relationship.1.5 weeks so far

You can also try to drink and cover the pain, and it becomes a cycle that never ends.Emotional pain is temporary. It may last a month, six months, a year. But eventually, the pain will subside and strength/resolve will take its place. If you quit, however, the pain (of selling yourself out) can last a lifetime.

Disagree with this. Going 60 days NC is an incredibly difficult challenge both physically and mentally. When you write a target down and work towards it then it becomes real and this is the whole point. Set yourself the baby step of 60 days NC. Then by the end you can think more clearly and set yourself more long term goals. Some of you guys counting the time like @Gaysha thinking of this as day x of 90 have the wrong mindset. You should be thinking this is day X of the REST OF MY LIFE. Never contact the ex again, ever. Don't think of it as a 90 day period you have to endure until a possible ex reach-out.

Hang in there , delete her profile.Day 5
Off sick today from work. Really missing the ex at the moment. It's little things that get me down like scrolling through Facebook, seeing a funny photo, wanting to share it with her and remembering I can't.
Did that a while ago. I'm referring to memes and stuff like that or funny videos (e.g a video of a cat in a humorous pose. Just stupid stuff you generally share with mates that make you laugh.Hang in there , delete her profile.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Return it to sender or chuck it in the bin!Letter arrived for my ex today (she hasn't told everyone her new address as recently moved out)
What should I do with it? Looks like it's from one of her family friends.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
