Master Don Juan
Her? She's my butler.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I haven't posted on here for a few months now, but I look & read most days.Dtsm3 said:So how do I feel in myself? Very mixed. I have and still feel very happy in myself, I like who I am, I'm proud of how far I have come over the last year in spite of the setbacks. I feel excited about the future as I know there's a lot to look forward to. I feel lonely, being truly on my own for the first time in 14 years, yes I have a lot of great friends - but that also makes me feel sad as I seem to be very capable of making friends, but not anything more then that, but I still feel lonely, no one to talk to about my days, no one to talk to me about theirs, no one to hug or be with. I feel worn out with everything that is happening in my life, and long for the day it starts to feel a little easier, and sad at some of the people I have lost, but I have made some great new friends along the way - some I have become very close to and mean a lot to me.

The above is exactly how I feel 14 months on from break-up & 11 months on from total NC.
Stick with NC, it is the only way.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
I'll take a wild guess that you think A is the more mature way and she thinks B is the more mature way.Dtsm3 said:Ladies and Gents,
I would like to ask a question, it is something I have recently pondered over.
Which is the more emotionally mature.
a) A person whom is able to speak openly and honestly about themselves, and what they are thinking and feeling?
or
b) A person whom is able to keep their emotions and thoughts to them self, and only share what is nessesary?
What's your opinions?

Accidentally saw an old joke picture of her wearing nothing but my boxer briefs, they looked so huge on her...I didn't laugh though, my stomach turned and I started to feel sick.
Nothing to worry about, I'll hit the gym soon and it will all be alright.
Now I realise why you understood me better Colette. You are female too . Hehhehe I thought you were a guy. Most people on here are!Colette said:fuvk that sh!t . you can do better

She thinks B is more mature because you will be the "strong" boyfriend to her and she can do what the **** she wants and you won't be effected by it, because your her "mature" boyfriend. SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH ISSUES THAT INVOLVE AN ADULT RELATIONSHIP.
that bothers me on option B, to "share what is necessary"
So basically it's a justification that someone in the relationship doesn't want to deal with issues and the one with an issue should just shut their mouth and be emotionless
Reality is folks, an adult relationship is when 2 people don't have to censor how they truly feel and they can discuss it openly. If you have to censor yourself, you're not in one, BAIL IMMEDIATELY.
I'm an expert on this one. Had my ex tell me to be a "stronger" man, by that I mean be stronger for her and let her do as she wants, be emotionless, be "strong".
What a bunch of bull****

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Have you met her or something???Noyou said:Corrected![]()

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
