You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
This is the fundimental wrong of most self-help. It is possible to be rid of your problems because every moment holds the key. The mind creates almost all problems. If you live in the moment, using the Power of Now, your mind is no longer WHO YOU ARE. If you live in the now, thus, you don't have any more "problems." I speak from experience man, I am not kidding. This actually works. Living in the moment is not "repressing" problems because when you live in the moment you see that your problems don't really exsist. If they are not real you are not repressing them. I know this sounds weird but I learned all of it from The Power of Now.just you can't punch your issues to the side (if you have them).. in that way you just repress them in yourself
I know that feeling. It has happened to me. BUT, that feeling is what being in the NOW IS. That energy, that happiness, that confidence. That is the NOW. I did not know it until I read The Power of Now, but everytime I immerse myself in the moment, and silence my mind I FEEL LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME. The problem is not the posts, but that the readers can't stay in the NOW, they live blissfully until their mind comes in and brings them down.with some new isnpiring post, I know that feeling "Oh yes, thats the KEY, I've found it!", and then some unexpected event, and your so called "confidence" dissapears from where it've appeared
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
I preach this all over the board now a days because it has helped me more than ANYTHING I HAVE EVER DONE. And I agree with you that living in the now is very hard, but IT IS WORTH EVERy INCH OF THE EFFORT. I am honest to god, here. I am going to stick through it. I am going to stick through it to the end. I have found the now. The only problem that I see people having is A) doubting that the NOW is truely helpful and B) that they never expierence it. If you don't ever feel the now then you doubt the truth of it. And, in response to the how much effort: I have been reading the power of now for about 3-4 months now, and I am able to get into the now with 80% efficancy. But the problem, as I said, is STAYING IN THE NOW. I started reading it but never finished until I realized that all the good things that happend to me (confidence and humor and happiness) came to me as a result of the now. A dangerous thing to do I know, attributing thing to the now, but it is true. And I don't know also if it is possible to become "fully conscious and aware." But then who is to say what "full" means, I don't know if there is a limit or not. But the true master is the not the one "fully aware" the the one who is always aware. For me, STAYING is the hard part.I agree with you on that. Just to "Live IN NOW" IN REAL is VERY hard thing to do. That requires A LOT of trainng. Thats in other words - become fully conscious and aware (question if thats even possible at all).
I have gone back and started to read some of D9s stuff, and damn it is hard. I am going to go through it slowly. But I suggest that first you read "the power of now", I can't say much about those other authors because I have not read any of them. Why read this material from the incomprehensible Destini when you can get the same ideas in more clarity from Eckhart Tolle
I was reserving my openness for when you answered my question the right way. Of course I seemed closed and shallow. That's because I was purposely trying to be that way until I could trust that you were capable of displaying reason. Reason would be answering a simple question correctly. You proved that you have none by evading like a politician. One more thing: Is the main "thing" - your ANSWERED question? If you wouldn't be so "closed" and shallow

I, again, think that it is worth it. Stick through it. I am lucky that I am young.

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
Shes says after bumping a 2 year old postDestini9 said:Oh my...Still going at it.?
I fall somewhere down the middle of this "debate". I thought the stuff on 101 about the ego was great. I believe however that the above is actually the reason why you *can* - if not actually plant things - then activate the triggers in the human mind that mean exactly the same thing.Destini9 said:No you can NOT subliminally implant a damn thing in ANYBODY for any reason. The reason you can NOT do this is the simple but brilliant construction of the brain and how it processes data, and that humans operate a very precise way...
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
