De La Soul
Master Don Juan
Yep, I don't have much time to write a real reply, but that variation could definitely work, V. Nice.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.

There's a flaw... you're asking, not telling.
But "want to go out with me" is TELLING the subconscious if you use the right tonality.
You're asking "What would I have to do?" Bad... it shows you're not worth going out with without guaranteed payment, and it gives them time to think of a response as it's clear you're waiting for one.
At the same time, its a great screening technique. If she likes you, shes not going to say something shallow. And if she does say something shallow you wouldnt want to go out with her anyway. Again, its worked great for me.
Try changing it to something like...
"What wouldn't I do that wouldn't make YOU WANT TO GO OUT WITH ME"
Imply that they already want to date you, head fake them with a double negative, then blindside them with a followup while they're trying to figure the first statement out.
Cheers,
Deagleclaw out
I LIKE THIS! NICE! Quite the tongue twister, though. Have you tried it?
When she responds with "What..?" How should you respond? Clarify or just say "Never mind?""What wouldn't I do that wouldn't make YOU WANT TO GO OUT WITH ME"
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Repeat it.Originally posted by g f l a s h 4 0 0 1

and how about if she says in response:
"oh, im sorry, im not really interested"
"I never asked you out."
"oh, sorry, but i have a boyfriend"
"Who said anything about a romantic relationship? I dont even know you."
it seems as if your asking her out, it automatically makes her realise your interested and the control is with her,
Thats your frame/reality. Not mine. And not the one you should be in. I might think shes sexy, but that dosent mean im interested in her or she is in control.
then if she doesnt like you or doesnt want to go out with you, she will come up with the ****ty excuses like above.
Have you tried it and gotten those responses? In my experiences with it, if they dont like me, they say something shallow. And sometimes they say something shallow when they are interested. Ive had girls come back and sincerely apologize.
C'mon guys, lets stop analyzing this so much. Ive gotten good results with it. So, get out there and DO IT! THEN you can analyze it all you want.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Actually, one could also argue that there's also some psychological mind-leading in the statement as well. This pattern also uses the power of suggestion. It says "You want to go out with me." As well as commanding the person to "Want to go out with me." This could be an extremely powerful pattern. It's almost a hypnotic suggestion at the end.Originally posted by Viroid
Tonality: "WANT TO GO OUT WITH ME" should be said as a statement, not a question. In other words, your tone of voice SHOULD NOT rise at the end of the sentence. Its an embedded command.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
