Theres this show in america where contestants compete for (I think) 100,000 dollars. Every week there is a weigh in and out of the 2 people that loose the least amount of weight, one gets voted off the show. Now they workout either 6-7 days a week, when they hop on that scale they loose like 6-7 pounds..A guy last night lost 10 pounds in one week! How is this even possible? Thats a little more than one pound per day?

Yeah when you're that big losing those kind of big numbers at times you've got to figure half is water, some is muscle and the rest is fat that is all being lost.

Even if it was all water it still has benefits in being lost in that it decreases stress on the guy's body to carry all that weight of water around.

I think about 30% of them put the weight right back on

you should be aiming for 2-3 pounds a week MAX for it to be healthy

fvcking fat people. got themselves in the position

This is the one reality show that I think is GREAT!

It is a good motivational tool for others to change their lifestyle.

The guy that won the 1st season wrestled for Iowa before. One day in wrestling practice in high school, we wrestled for 60 minutes and I lost 5 and half lbs. it was mostly water. We were encouraged to drink plenty of water to replace what we lost.
