Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I do find that an occasional joust with these can completely confuse and disarm them, but I wasn't able to do that until I was in my late 40s. At first I shock them, but they always walk away respecting me because of my well-reasoned thoughts.
You are young, lizardking82, but are way advanced of your peers in reasoning power. I'll bet as you get older you will be instrumental in straightening out some of these confused girls.
The center/left wings are just dipping a toe in the feminist waters and are usually not bona-fide feminists. They can be swayed because everything they say is just a test, a parroting of what they've read or seen on TV. They are not fully convinced of what they think they believe in. They're just spewing this stuff out to see what sticks.
One thing that fully convinces a woman is a dominant, unapologetic man.

You neee to be very charming in order to do so successfully. I find a lot of people not particularly versed in communication come across of a bit abrasive when discussing politics and as a result put liberals on the defensive. If you want to have any meaningful conversation with a femal liberal you need to gently ease into your ideals.
A good strategy is to find common ground on something you agree on. Explain a policy or idea you think most people agree on without designating a right or left stance. Once you have your 'we're not so different' realization, go from there. Gently.
