I end up glancing at her facebook and finds out she has a boyfriend. I havent taken her out since the first time i took her out but i havent let her know that i know she has a boyfriend. i still have her number. Should i bring it up and how? That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Go ghost and seem uninterested. She has a boyfriend anyway so she's out of bounds. By not mentioning you know and just not really seeming to care will make her feel like you're superior. Well maybe not superior but she will see you as a lot cooler than saying you stalked her profile and see she has a boyfriend.
Most chicks I know don't list their status at all, I've only seen one who ever used "It's Complicated" either. I did have one who was going out of her way to get my attention but when I took a look her profile mentioned that she was married so I stopped responding to it (I don't mess with married chicks, period.) Interestingly a while later that status vanished but I wasn't going to waste any more time on her anyway. I did see her wearing a ring or two later on but that doesn't mean much, there are quite a number of single women out there who wear a ring on the wedding finger either because they want to ward off guys or because they're ignorant and don't realize the message they're sending until they complain about never getting asked out and someone points out why.Tiguere said:
