Successful bulking cycle: Gained 14 lbs in 35 days

At my aunt's house (stayed over for one night with my mom and sis), I weighed myself 6-8 times during different times of day and night to confirm that the scale wasn't batty. The lowest weight I came to was 229, the highest was 233, and others were 229.5 and 232. Therefore, I'm using 230 as an average to be conservative. I'm going to weigh myself on the same scale that I got the 216 and 220 on originally to determine whether one or the other scale really IS batty.

Mybodycomp.com bodyfat measurements are a bit batty, IMO. They're telling me that I stayed the same, around 12-13%, which seems low on both ends (216 and 230). I did gain 7/5 inches on my shoulders and 4/5 on my chest, and a bit less on my thigh, half an inch I think, and hardened up. My waist size has stayed pretty much the same. Didn't grow out of any shorts.

The date was from 9/8 to 10/12.

Now comes the cutting cycle. I'll report back and tell you all if I have visible abs by November ^_^

BTW, I burnt out a bit mentally, and took a week off, and now I'm setting a bunch of PR's. I did 4 straight BW chins and 2 strict military presses per arm with the 72 lb kettlebell. Other work feels easier than it used to. I did a workout that I didn't post here last Wednesday, and ended up canning the 20-rep squat because horrible power clean form (should have skipped those, I was way tired) gave my lower back a lot of DOMS. I figured out where I went wrong on PC's though, so I'm good now.

I'll confirm this tomorrow on the scale I got 216 and 220 on.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

How tall are you? You sure you need more bulking? Your pretty damn big you got like 100 pounds on me and im 5'8 LOL.

Those are some sick gains, my friend. Well done.


Btw, are you an ectomorph, or a mesomorph? Body builds can have an effect on overall weight gain, even at the same height. For example, I'm sure an extreme ectomorph at 6'1" would have maxed out at around 200 pounds, TOPS.

Bodytypes can never change through the course of one's lifetime. If one is born an ectomorph or endomorph, that stays with you for life. Ectomorphs will always stay skinny unless drastic measures are taken, and endomorphs will always have to watch their weight.

But individuals can still be a combination of the three main bodytypes (ecto, meso, endo), for example and 'endomorphic mesomorph (is naturally broad framed and muscular, but has a tendency to get fat easily). Or an 'mesomorphic endomorph' (naturally fat, but muscular underneat - has potential to be jacked). I'm guessing that you're one of either.
