Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

Is it ok to do squats and deadlifts together in workout along with other exercises?
Or will this lead to overtraining?

depends on the rest of the workout but if volume is low enough it could work. although I'd have to ask WHY you wanted to pair them together in the first place.. in general it's not recommended at all (powerlifting aside).

Sure you can... imo

If you usually do 6 sets of squats, you can do 3 sets of squats and 3 sets of deadlifts.

The thing I don't like about it is that you have to shift all the weights back and forth.

you can't pushing maximal weights that way. the volume would have to be really low for squats and deads in the same workout and more along the lines of powerlifting (working up to a triple, double or even single) on both the squat and the deadlift.. for bodybuilding (higher reps) I would never do them on the same day. going up to your 1RM is one thing, doing multiple sets at your 5RM is quite another.

I don't do them together. It's one or the other. When I did deadlifts before, I'd throw in dumbbell lunges instead of squats, try to come up w/something supplemental exercise like that.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Well, right now I am doing a full body workout three times week. Why? Because I'm rather unpatient, so I can't stand long rest periouds . All I do is compound lifts, except for calf raises. I do a few warmup sets and then 3 worksets. So, do you think it would work out if I did squats one day, deadlifts in the next training session and then squats again?

This is total bs. Absolutely nothing wrong with doing deads and squats in the same session if your program is specifically designed for it.

Check out Rippetoe, similar to 5x5:

lift m/w/f, alternate workout A and workout B

workout A: squat 5x3, bench 5x3, power clean 5x3 or 3x5 (some people substitute BB rows for power cleans)

workout B: squat 5x3, deadlift 5x1/5x2, overhead press 5x3

not including progressive warmup sets

That's squatting 3x a week (heavy) and deadlifting once or twice a week (heavy) depending on the week. Perfectly legit and great for mass, strength, BBing, PLing, whatever. And this is a program that has (and continues to) work for thousands of lifters, very effectively.

Squats and Stiff legged deadlifts sound like a good complement.

Now deadlifts and squats do target the same major movers, but in different ways. I would suggest giving priority to squats, then a few sets deadlifts if you are so inclined.

Yake. Your approach is FINE. Different ways to skin a cat.

Tons lifted should be the same if not more. If anything it could be more productive, as you are getting more training lessions in per week. Just don't do the sessions to complete fatique like the traditional 1x/week focus one body part.

3x sessions a week, try to seperate by 48 hours recovery.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

And unless everyone here is 5'8" 230lbs or whatever you are (still want pics), they're gonna be sticking with relatively low poundages for quite some time.

I like going heavy...

There would be no way I could do heavy squats and deads in the same routine...I'd be jello.

Yeah, from looking at wba's lifts, even at his size, it would be very hard for the body to endure both exersices in the same period. I'm still either novice or intermediate for those lifts, so doing both per workout isn't a big deal to me.

Come to Kentucky, you don't want to be a Vol or a Tarheel. Just remember though, we don't actually consider Louisville part of Ky.

We've got guns and bourbon, if that doesn't convince you, nothing will.

K 6" then I misread. That's even smaller then, though by no means small. You can always post pics of your body. I doubt we'll recognize you lol.

Makes no sense deadlifting and squatting in one workout...if you're able to do so, you need to increase the weight...I've been squatting two years, and it still takes me 3-4 days to fully recover...squats, IMO, are meant to be brutal...if they're not, increase the weight.
So long 5x5 ...

(again I doubt most people here, since it's not even a bb or pl forum are lifting heavy weights)
